PJM and our employees help to enhance the education of children and support innovation and exploration for inspired students. Our employees donate books, read to children, refurbish computers and provide support to an area robotics team as demonstrations of that commitment.

Here is a sampling of what our employees have been doing to support educational outreach:

• PJM’s United Way team’s partnering with TeamChildren, a local charity that distributes low-cost, refurbished computers to families, schools and organizations in our region
  
• Terrific Tales, a book donation program for an elementary school in Norristown, Pa.
  
• Sponsorship of robotics team, the Hybrid X team of West Philadelphia High School’s Academy of Automotive and Mechanical Engineering
