PJM Interconnection committees and working groups play an integral role in developing and refining PJM’s rules, policies and processes. These groups provide a forum through which stakeholders share their positions and resolve difficult issues. Market committees are an essential component of PJM’s governance structure for administering an open-access, transparent grid and markets.

This collaborative approach - a hallmark of the way PJM conducts business - enhances our ability to manage the grid, maintain reliability and assure robust markets.

The committees are defined in the PJM Operating Agreement, the Transmission Owners Agreement and the Reliability Assurance Agreement with specific responsibilities and authority. Members can designate a representative for any committee using the enrollment/change form.
