Compliance Bulletins

Compliance Bulletins are a tool developed by PJM’s NERC and Regional Coordination department to provide clarity surrounding ambiguous language in the published NERC Reliability Standards and to provide guidance to the PJM Standard Owners and PJM members to assist with PJM’s compliance with the standards.

NERC Standard IRO-010-1a: Reliability Coordinator Data Specifications and Collection (PDF)
The purpose of this PJM Compliance Bulletin is to clarify the PJM and PJM member data requirements as they apply to NERC Standard IRO-010-1a: Reliability Coordinator Data Specifications and Collection, effective October 1, 2011.
 
NERC DADS Reporting Requirements for PJM and PJM Members (PDF)
The purpose of this Compliance Bulletin is to outline the responsibilities of PJM and its members in regards to the NERC DADS reporting requirements.

This Compliance Bulletin provides guidance on the respective responsibilities of PJM and the member companies in order for PJM to demonstrate compliance with PRC-001-1.
 
NERC Standard PRC-023-1: Transmission Relay Loadability - Definition and identification of critical facilities vs. Critical Assets (PDF)
The purpose of this Compliance Bulletin is to clarify the operational definition of a ‘critical facility’ as covered in PRC-023-1: Transmission Relay Loadability, versus ‘Critical Assets’ as covered in CIP-002-2(3): Cyber Security-Critical Cyber Assets Identification.

The purpose of this Compliance Bulletin is to define the term “annual” and related terms such as “yearly” and “annually”, as they apply to NERC and Regional Reliability Standards. This bulletin is intended to provide clearly defined parameters for standards which do not adequately describe the intended timeframe; this document does not supersede clear language and definitions already included in the applicable standards.
