Q: What are the deadlines for PJM's various transmission products?
A: Please refer to the Regional Practices document section 1.6.
Q: Can I purchase one request for hourly off-peak transmission for an energy schedule that runs 00:00-07:00 and 23:00-24:00?
A: Yes, one request may be used to cover both 00:00-07:00 and 23:00-24:00 of the energy schedule
Q: What are the Ancillary Services in PJM?
A: Please refer to the Regional Practices document for ancillary prices.
Q: What are the Losses in PJM?
A: According to Section 15.7 of the PJM Open Access Transmission Tariff losses are 3% on-peak and 2.5% off-peak.
Q: How can I Purchase Non Firm PJM Transmission with capacity at 0?
A: You can still purchase Non-Firm transmission by choosing YES in the "Willing to Pay congestion" option on the PJM Oasis. By choosing willing to pay congestion, the customer may be obligated to pay additional monetary amounts if the system is constrained.
Q: Why is the ATC/Capacity for Firm or Non Firm 0?

A: The ATC was purchased by other market participants and/or that is the correct posting based on forecasted system conditions.

Q: Why is my transaction in the "NEW" status?
A: The transaction is in the "NEW" status because the market participant has not submitted the transaction. On the Buy ATC page, please scroll down to the bottom of the Oasis page and press the 'Submit' button in the lower left hand side of the oasis screen.
Q: Why isn't PJM a valid Source or Sink?

A: PJM is no longer a valid source or sink on the PJM OASIS for 2 reasons. 1) If we ran into off-cost operations with PJM as a source or sink accounting would have a difficult time determining the price to charge the customer. 2) PJM is not a bus.

Q: How do I update my user information and/or add a new user? Who do I call about adding a new company?
A: A new user can be added by accessing the Create a New User link on the PJM Oasis main page. User information can be updated either through the company's CAM administrator in esuite, or by calling the PJM CR&T department 610-666-8980. You would also need to call the CR&T department to add a new company.
Q: How do I determine why my PJM Oasis request was refused or invalid?
A: The 'Comments Provider' field explains the reason the transaction was refused. On the Buy ATC page this is located near the bottom of the page. On the transaction information page (once the transaction is queried) this can be found in the lower right hand section of the reservation.
Q: How do I determine the status of my PJM Oasis reservation?
A: On the Buy ATC web page simply plug in your PJM Oasis reservation (transaction number) in the blank box below the Query button and press 'Query.' Or, click on the Transaction Information page and plug the PJM Oasis reservation in the Transaction Number (assignment reference) field and press 'query.'
Q: Do I get a rebate for the transmission I purchased if my schedule is curtailed?
A: If the schedule is curtailed by PJM and recorded accordingly by the Transaction Coordinator, you will receive a pro-rated portion, which is determined by the PJM Market Settlements department. When schedules are cut by another pool, there will be no rebate offered for the unused portions of the transmission.
Q: If I purchased multi hour transmission, but was not able to obtain ramp room, is my Oasis valid for the remaining hours?
A: Yes, the Oasis number is valid for the amount of time/mw's that were purchased, regardless if the entire portion is being used.
Q: Where can I find information about selling ICAP into PJM?
A: Please refer to section 1.5 of the Regional Practices.
