New Member Readiness Guide - Sandbox

PJM has a host of business applications that allow energy transactions to take place. As a new member it is important to become familiar with the applications that you will need to use to transact your business with PJM. Please refer to the Tools Information section to learn more about each application.

After becoming familiar with each application, a new member through training should next identify which applications they would need to practice using. Several of the applications are available in a Sandbox environment which allows Market Integration participants the opportunity to practice using each application.

To register for eFTR, eMTR, EES and eMKT sandbox environments, follow the steps below:

  • Go to the eSuite Sandbox (https://esuitetrain.pjm.com) and click on Login.
  • Click on the button "eSuite New User"  found in the New Users Registration box under Login Tools (bottom, right).
  • Complete the Registration Form, and then submit.
  • Follow-up with your CAM account manager to gain approval of registration request. If you don’t know who your CAM account manager is, click on Account Manager Details on the bottom left of the eSuitetest logon page. Your CAM account manager’s name will appear. Upon approval, your User ID should be active.
