Western Synchronized Reserve Zone Preliminary Billing Data

The monthly files below contain hourly billing data for the PJM Western Synchronized Reserve Zone Preliminary Report. These values are for informational purposes only and are subject to change through the fifth business day of the following month.

Hourly data includes:

  • the Western Synchronized Reserve Zone Synchronized Reserve Market Clearing Price (SRMCP) in $/MWh of synchronized reserve provided;
  • the Western Synchronized Reserve Zone total MWh of Tier 1 synchronized reserve applied to obligations estimated prior to the operating hour;
  • the Western Synchronized Reserve Zone total MWh of Tier 1 Synchronized Reserve provided in excess of obligations;
  • the Western Synchronized Reserve Zone total unrecovered opportunity cost payments made to Tier 2 resources assigned as part of the clearing process;
  • the Western Synchronized Reserve Zone total unrecovered opportunity cost payments made to Tier 2 resources assigned during the operating hour;
  • Western Synchronized Reserve Zone total MWh of synchronized reserve purchased in the market;
  • and the Western Synchronized Reserve Zone total Tier 1 Synchronized Reserve credits.
