Preliminary Synchronized Reserve Billing Data

The monthly files below contain hourly billing data for the PJM Synchronized Reserve Markets. These values are for informational purposes only and are subject to change through the fifth business day of the following month.

Hourly data for each reserve zone includes:

  • Synchronized Reserve Market Clearing Price (SRMCP) in $/MWh of synchronized reserve provided;
  • total MWh of Tier 1 synchronized reserve applied to obligations estimated prior to the operating hour;
  • total MWh of Tier 1 spinning reserve provided in excess of obligations;
  • total unrecovered opportunity cost payments made to Tier 2 resources assigned as part of the clearing process;
  • total unrecovered opportunity cost payments made to Tier 2 resources assigned during the operating hour;
  • total MWh of synchronized reserve purchased in the market
  • total Tier 1 synchronized reserve credits.
