1. Click Tools then Internet Options.
2. Click Security.
3. Click Internet.
4. Click Custom Level.
5. Scroll to the ActiveX controls and plug-ins and verify that the options are set to Enable or Prompt.
6. Scroll to the Scripting Section and verify that Active Scripting is set to Enable or Prompt.
   
   NOTE: Clicking a checked box removes the checkmark and disables the feature.
   If you see checkmarks in the Enable or Prompt boxes, do not click on the checked boxes.
   
   
7. Click OK.
8. Click OK. 

Enabling ActiveX for Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0

1. Click Tools then Internet Options.
2. Click Security.
3. Click Trusted Sites.
4. Click Sites.
5. In the 'Add this website to the zone' field enter http://www.pjm.com
6. Uncheck the 'Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone' box
7. Click Add
8. Click Close
9. Click Custom Level.
10. Scroll to Active X controls and plug-ins.
11. Click Enable next to Download signed ActiveX controls.
12. Click Enable next to Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins.
13. Click Enable next to Script ActiveX controls not marked safe for scripting.
14. Click OK to close the Security Settings window.
15. Click OK to close the Trusted Sites window.
16. Close and reopen Internet Explorer.

Enabling ActiveX for Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.0

1. Click Tools then Internet Options.
2. Click Security.
3. Click Trusted Sites.
4. Click Sites.
5. In the 'Add this website to the zone' field enter http://www.pjm.com
6. Uncheck the 'Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone' box
7. Click Add
8. Click Close
9. Click Custom Level.
10. Scroll to Active X controls and plug-ins.
11. Click Enable next to Download signed ActiveX controls.
12. Click Enable next to Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe for scripting.
13. Click Enable next to Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins.
14. Click Enable next to Script ActiveX controls not marked safe for scripting.
15. Click OK to close the Security Settings window.
16. Click OK to close the Trusted Sites window.
17. Close and reopen Internet Explorer.
