Course Title: Review of Power System Fundamentals
Description:

Power System Fundamentals presents an overview of basic electrical principles, as they apply to bulk power operations.
Topics include: Basic DC and AC Principles, Impedance Principles, Power Principles, Transformer Principles. AC Power Flow Principles.

PJM is recognized by the North American Electric Reliability Council as a continuing education provider who adheres to NERC Continuing Education Program Criteria. Application has been submitted to NERC for 24 continuing education hours for this course.

Prerequisites: Should be able to pass a screening assessment for familiarity with basic algebra and trigonometry, use of scientific notation, and solving related problems using a hand calculator.
Intended Audience: This course is intended for those who wish a review of relevant principles related to the operation of the bulk electrical system with exercises to illustrate topics discussed.
