Extended Training Class: System Dynamics |
| Description: |
A one-week course to enhance the system operator?s knowledge of power system dynamics. The course is designed to increase the system operator?s awareness of the effects of disturbances on the interconnected power grid.
This course is targeted to experienced system operators in generation and transmission who have completed the Initial Training Program or equivalent. The course is also of value to operations personnel who require a detailed level of knowledge in operations-related topics. |

PJM is recognized by the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) as a continuing education provider who adheres to NERC Continuing Education Program Criteria. This course is recognized by NERC for 32 continuing education hours. |
| Prerequisites: |
Completion of PJM?s Initial Training Program or equivalent system operator experience is recommended. |
