PJM has instituted a System Operator Certification Program to promote the reliability of the PJM systems. The Operator Certification Program was developed to ensure PJM, Local Control Center and Market Operation Center operators have a baseline level of knowledge, awareness and familiarity with applicable PJM procedures, tools, tasks, and related power system operation theory in accordance with and in support of applicable NERC and regional standards during normal, emergency and restoration operational conditions.
