3.15.2019 Docket No. ER19-982-000
On March 15, 2019, in Docket No. ER19-982-000, PJM submitted for filing a Motion for Leave to Answer and Answer to the joint protest filed by EDF Renewables, Inc. and Renewable Energy Systems Americas Inc. in response to PJM’s proposal to revise the PJM Tariff, section 234.2 to: (i) establish a revised timeline for determining incremental capacity transfer rights (“ICTRs”) that may result from customer-funded upgrades; (ii) require customers to specify no more than three Locational Deliverability Areas to be studied to determine ICTRs; and (iii) permit Transmission Interconnection Customers submitting an Upgrade Request to ask PJM to determine ICTRs during the System Impact Study stage.
3.14.2019 Docket No. ER19-1301-000
On March 14, 2019, in Docket No. ER19-1301-000, PJM submitted for filing revisions to the PJM Tariff, Schedule 12-Appendix A to incorporate cost responsibility assignments for new baseline upgrades included in the recent update to the Regional Transmission Expansion Plan approved by the PJM Board of Managers on February 12, 2019. PJM requests the revisions become effective on June 12, 2019, which is 90 days after the date of this filing to allow a 30 day comment period.
3.13.2019 Report on Yorktown Units I & 2 Operations Pursuant to Order No. 202-18-6
On March 13, 2019, PJM and Virginia Electric and Power Company (Dominion Energy Virginia) submitted a report (Report) pursuant to DOE Order No. 202-18-6 dated December 6, 2018 (Order) issued by the Secretary of Energy (Secretary). The Report provides information on PJM’s dispatch and Dominion Energy Virginia’s operations of Yorktown Units 1 and 2 from February 26, 2019 through March 8, 2019 including the periods needed to startup and ramp down the units. In the Order, the Secretary directed PJM and Dominion Energy Virginia to “report all dates between December 9, 2018 through March 8, 2019, on which Yorktown Units 1 and/or 2 are operated, and the associated air emissions and water usage data for those dates."
