PJM is bringing this issue forward in response to concerns with the fuel and non-fuel consumables supply chain, as well as increasing environmental restrictions on generators, resulting in challenges with managing remaining run hours for generating resources. This work is intended to address specific operating procedures associated with the usage of the Maximum Emergency generation status.
