LMP/FTR

This one-day course provides an in-depth look at the components of locational marginal pricing (LMP) including the shadow price. The course will examine the contrast between the dispatch rate and the LMP. There is also an LMP demo that illustrates how various generator offers and parameters influence the LMP. As a hedge for transmission congestion charges, there will be a detailed explanation of Fixed Transmission Rights (FTRs) and Auction Revenue Rights (ARRs) accompanied with an FTR Auction demo.
