PJM will be performing network maintenance in the Production environment on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. - 11:59 p.m. EPT (1800-2359 hours).
During this maintenance, there will be intermittent outages of up to 10 minutes.
The Generation Initial Training Program (ITP) provides comprehensive training for a Generation Dispatcher. This program is designed to provide participants knowledge of topics critical to generation operations and procedures within PJM. It incorporates a combination of teaching methods to enhance participant learning. Successful completion of the course includes student's participation in a combination of lectures, simulations and other exercises. This Program may be completed In-Person or Online using the PJM Learning Management System (LMS).
Initial Training Requirement:
Market Operation Center (MOC) Generation Dispatchers must successfully complete the PJM sponsored ITP within 6 months of participating in real time operations.
Continuing Training Requirement:
Upon completion of the Initial Training Program, all Generation Dispatchers have ongoing Continuing Training requirements. All MOC Generation Dispatchers must complete at least 18 hours annually of continuing training. For more information on the MOC Generation Dispatcher training requirements, please see PJM Manual 40.
Please note that all online training requirements must be completed via the PJM Learning Management System (LMS). Required training is designated as Priority 1 in the LMS and may be filtered to clearly differentiate from optional training.
