PJM’s My Tools Home Page Migrating to Cloud May 27; Soft Launch to Take Place May 20
PJM’s My Tools Home page will be migrated to the cloud on May 27, with a soft launch taking place on Tuesday, May 20 from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. EPT (1700 - 2100 hours).

During this time, the My Tools Home page will be unavailable. However, PJM’s tools can be accessed directly, or through the PJM Tools page in the Markets & Operations section of PJM.com. My Tools Home page will be rolled back to its on-premises location after the soft launch is complete.

Generation Deactivations

Generator deactivations can alter power flows that may yield violations of established transmission system reliability criteria. Therefore system upgrades may be required to correct any identified reliability violation, in many areas of PJM. Visit the Learning Center site to learn about the steps PJM takes to keep the grid stable when power plants retire.

Deactivated Generators include:

  • Retired - inactive and not expected to return to service
  • Mothballed - inactive for a defined period and expected to return to service

The list of deactivations is typically updated within 24 business hours of notification from the generator. If a deactivation is not shown, PJM has not been notified of the deactivation.
