Governor Control and AGC

This course discusses governor control and describes droop characteristics, governor dead band and how they affect frequency control on the BES. Automatic Generation Control (AGC) is described and how AGC differs from governor control. The three different modes of AGC are described as well as when each would be applicable to use during the operation of the BES.
