Designated Entity Forms and Templates
The Designated Entity process requires different forms to be submitted at various stages. These forms can be found using the links below.
Per Manual 14C, Designated Entities (DEs) are required to provide PJM formal notice regarding the completion of milestones contained within a Designated Entity Agreement (DEA). The following forms and templates should be used when providing the associated notifications to PJM.
Adequate Financing Milestone Letter DOC - This template letter should be used when a DE is notifying PJM about their commitment to finance specific upgrades within a DEA.
Project Completion Certification Form DOC - This template letter should be used when a DE is notifying PJM about the completion of specific upgrades within a DEA.
PJM Designated Entity Agreement Certification of the Completion of All Projects Form DOC - This template letter should be used when a DE is notifying PJM that all projects, or the final project, within a DEA is complete and that the DEA is ready to be terminated as all work under the agreement is complete.
Manual 14C allows for minor project modifications that do not necessitate an amendment to the Designated Entity Agreement. The Upgrade Project Designated Entity Agreement Modification Form XLS should be used in these cases.
PJM Letter of Credit for Designated Entity Agreements DOC - Letters of credit are accepted only from A / A2 rated banks. PJM recommends that all letters of credit be discussed with PJM’s credit group prior to issuance in order to confirm bank eligibility and L/C acceptability.
