System Restoration Coordinators Subcommittee
The System Restoration Coordinators Subcommittee (SRCS) responsibility is to discuss and recommend courses of action to address restoration issues as directed by the Operating Committee through consultation with the System Operations Subcommittee – Generation and Transmission. Responsibilities include:
- Setting up and administering restoration drills (all 2020 materials posted on the DTS webpage)
- Reviewing member company input on drills and reporting feedback to the SOS
- Performing annual reviews of restoration manuals
The review process is being implemented to raise awareness of restoration strategies for each transmission owner zone and to ensure that all restoration manuals meet all applicable North American Electric Reliability Corporation standards.
