BGE Rating Information (Updated)

BGE is revising transmission circuit ratings in their transmission zone based on a comprehensive review of their facility ratings process and the definition of BES. BGE posted changes to ratings for 230kV and 500kV facilities on May 1, 2008.

PJM is reviewing the 115kV transmission circuit ratings which will be implemented on July 1, 2008.

BG&E is making a concerted effort to prioritize transmission work during the month of June 2008 to address the impact of 8 high priority transmission circuit ratings changes on system operations. This will also necessitate both scheduled and emergency outages in June to complete the related transmission work.

Emergency and Planned Outages are scheduled on the following 8 facilities (10 equipment outages) during June to address projected operational/reliability concerns.
